Kia Lor named as a Gates Millennium Scholar! She is one of 1,000 nationally / 17 statewide, the first ever from Johnson High School. This scholarship provides an all expense-full ride to college and post graduate study at their college of choice. Kia will be attending the College of St. Benedict in St. Joseph, MN. Olamide Fadahunsi won the State Singles Title in Badminton on Thursday, May 14th!

2008-09 Winter Sports All Conference and Honorable Mention Winners

Alexandra Schmitz has been selected as a recipient of the 2009-2010 Comcast Leaders and Achievers® Scholarship. This award, funded through The Comcast Foundation, recognizes high school seniors from Comcast communities for commitment to community service, academic achievement, and demonstrated leadership. Recipients receive a on-time grant of $1,000.

The Children's Defense Fund has awarded Edwin Rosas and Kia Lor as honorees of the 2009 Children's Defense Fund (CDF) Minesota's Beat the Odds® Awards. They each will be honored at at dinner and awarded a $9,000 scholarship towards future educational expenses!
